Born in 1952 in Fukuoka. All-round design director, architecture designer, art director, and graphic designer. He has received a number of awards in international design competitions including Gold Prize (twice) at The International Poster Biennial in Warsaw, Gold Prize (five times) at The Art Directors Club International Exhibition in New York, Gold Prize (three consecutive times) at The International Poster Triennial in Toyama, and Grand Prize at Lahti International Poster Biennial. His posters are in the permanent collections at more than 30 modern art museums, such as The Museum of Modern Art in New York and San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. He is a member of Tokyo ADC, director at JAGDA, and a member of AGI. |
